SACRAMENTO, CA – Senator Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) announced today her 2021 Woman of the Year for Senate District 22: Ray Jan, a Baldwin Park resident, has spent years quietly being a community and business advocate, and in the past year has truly stepped up to help others.

“Ray Jan has been an unsung hero in our community, as the head of the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce, and has gone above and beyond to support our businesses and our community,” Sen. Rubio said. “From guiding businesses through the challenges of COVID-19, helping with SBA relief programs, and spearheading the collection of hard to find items to donate such as PPE, diapers, formula and additional items, she has helped so many in our community survive through the pandemic.”
