What an incredible welcome from the Covina High School Colts!It’s been such a joy touring high schools and teaching government classes and today’s visit was truly special. Thank you to the board, principal, and staff for the warm welcome (and the goodies)!

I loved hearing from students about their priorities, mental health, and wellness center — and as a former cheerleader, it was extra special to be greeted by the Covina cheer team. The highlight of the day? Testing out the school’s flight simulator and “flying” all the way to Sacramento! 

Grateful for the opportunity to connect, listen, and teach about our legislative process and the bills impacting our children and schools.
