Held a powerful press conference today to unveil my Domestic Violence Legislative Package for this upcoming year.

I’m deeply grateful to the survivors, advocates, Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio , and SheriffLuna for standing with me to strengthen protections for victims and hold abusers accountable.

I want to especially thank Leticia, mother of Angelina, a young woman we tragically lost in the City of Azusa, and to Karen, who lost both her mother and sister to domestic violence. Your courage to stand and share your stories turns pain into purpose and gives strength to others still suffering in silence.

Together, we’re fighting for justice, safety, and healing, because survivors deserve nothing less.
