That’s why I’m inviting you to join me for Coffee & Conversation this Saturday‚ September 12 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Duarte Senior Center.

This is a casual chance for us to chat. Just a warm cup of coffee‚ a quick legislative update‚ and time to hear your questions‚ concerns‚ and ideas.

I’ll be sharing updates on a few of the bills I authored this year‚ including:

• SB 1192 – The Reclaim Act
  Prevents abusers from misusing the court system to harass and retraumatize survivors, ensuring the justice system works to protect victims.
• SB 1276 – The End Child Exploitation Act
  Makes it a crime to knowingly watch a livestream of a sexually exploited child, closing gaps in the law as online abuse continues to evolve.
• SB 1323 – Health Care Providers: Patient Access
  Requires hospitals to notify family members when a patient in ICE custody is admitted for medical care.
