Vaccine Appointment System Is Now OPEN For LA County Residents 65 Years And Older
The COVID-19 vaccine appointment system is now OPEN for LA County residents 65 years and older. In addition, LA County is prioritizing frontline healthcare workers as well as residents and staff at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
VACCINE APPOINTMENTS:
You can make an appointment in two ways:

- Call (833) 540-0473 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Make sure to provide:
- Proof of your age (e.g., driver's license or Medi-Care card)
- Proof of LA County residency (e.g., driver's license or utility bill)

VACCINATION SITES:
- Recently, LA County opened 5 large capacity vaccination sites:
- Pomona Fairplex, 1101 W McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768
- The Forum, 3900 W Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, CA 90305
- California State University, Northridge, 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge, CA 91330
- L.A. County Office of Education, 12830 Columbia Way, Downey, CA 90242
- Six Flags Magic Mountain, 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy., Valencia, CA 91355
These large-scale vaccination sites started operating Tuesday, January 19, and will be able to vaccinate approximately 4,000 people per day at each site, or 500,000 Los Angeles County residents in a month.
In addition to the LA County operated sites, there are pharmacies that have registered to provide vaccinations. Vaccine allocations are also going to large healthcare provider organizations like Kaiser Permanente and Providence Health and Services. You may call your healthcare provider, who may refer you to a preferred location.
COST OF VACCINES:
Vaccinations are free and available to all regardless of immigration status or insurance coverage. If you do have insurance, coverage information may be requested as part of the appointment scheduling process.
TYPES OF VACCINES:
LA County and registered pharmacies provide either the Pfizer or the Moderna vaccine. Both have been approved for their safety and efficacy. Please check the LA County Department of Public Health website for more information.
