4) Build a stay box to stay safe at home for when you can't leave.

Voting by mail is a safe way to ensure that your voice will be heard on Election Day. This year all registered California voters will receive a ballot. 

What you need to know

1- Fill Out Your Ballot.

2 - Insert Ballot in Envelope, Add Required Information.  

3 - Sign Your Name.

4 - Mail or Drop off Ballot as early as possible, and definitely by or before November 3rd.

            •          Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. -

SACRAMENTO, CA –The California Legislature today passed a bill by Sen. Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) that would expand protections for domestic violence survivors by allowing them to describe psychologically damaging and abusive behavior as supporting evidence in family court hearings and criminal trials. The bill now heads to the governor’s desk.

SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Legislature today passed a bill by Sen. Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) that will allow the City of Rosemead to have access to funds for local infrastructure projects that have been unavailable. It now heads to the governor's desk. 

Senate Bill 1307 would allow the City of Rosemead to utilize funding established through the 1919 Lighting District funds for public benefits allowed under 1972 Landscape and Lighting Act.

SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Legislature today passed a bill by Sen. Susan Rubio (D-Baldwin Park) that will ensure domestic violence providers are able to keep services accessible amid COVID-19 and in the future.

Senate Bill 1276 will remove the 10 percent cash or in-kind matching requirement for state grants awarded to domestic violence programs that provide essential resources. In addition to state requirements, domestic violence service providers must also meet match fund requirements for federal funding sources.
