Latinas from Los Angeles will be the first sisters in the California legislature

For the first time in the history of California, there will be two sisters in the state legislature, Blanca and Susan Rubio. They are Latinas, Mexican immigrants , residents of Baldwin Park in Los Angeles County, and teachers by profession.
